This Privacy Policy describes how MindFlip ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information directly. However, the App integrates third-party advertising services provided by Google AdMob, which may collect certain data automatically.
Advertising ID
AdMob may collect your device's Advertising ID to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. This identifier is used for advertising and analytics purposes. You can reset or limit the use of your Advertising ID at any time through your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Opt out of personalized advertising).
App Interactions
AdMob may collect anonymized data about your interactions within the App (e.g., screen views, taps) for the purpose of ad analytics and performance measurement.
IP Address
Standard network information such as your IP address may be collected by AdMob for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
2. How We Use Your Information
Any data collected by AdMob is used exclusively for:
- Serving and displaying advertisements
- Measuring ad performance and analytics
- Preventing fraud and abuse
We do not use your data for account creation, personalization, developer communications, or any purpose beyond advertising.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data transmitted by AdMob is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. We do not operate any servers and do not store any user data on our end. Local game data (high scores, player names) is stored exclusively on your device using SharedPreferences and is never transmitted off your device.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — for serving advertisements. View Google's Privacy Policy.
- audioplayers — for playing sound effects locally. No data is collected or transmitted.
- shared_preferences — for storing game progress locally on your device. No data is transmitted.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following controls over your data:
- Reset Advertising ID — Go to device Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID
- Opt out of personalized ads — Go to device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of ads personalization
- Clear local data — Go to device Settings → Apps → MindFlip → Storage → Clear data
7. Data Deletion
Since we do not collect or store any personal data on servers, there is no data for users to request deletion of. Any local data stored on your device can be cleared through Android's App Settings as described above.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
